About Enercon

Enercon Power (Enercon Power Sdn. Bhd.) is based in Puchong, Selangor, and part of the wider Enercon group of engineering firms. It works across generator control panels, solar EPC (engineering, procurement and construction), and energy-efficiency products for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

The Enercon group traces its roots to ENERCON ENGINEERING, INC., founded in the United States in 1975, and ENERCON ASIA PTE LTD, established in Singapore in 1994. Enercon Power Sdn. Bhd. was later formed, alongside branch offices in Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Myanmar and Indonesia, to serve the Malaysian market. The company says the wider group has completed more than 3,000 projects in over 20 countries, working with generator brands including Caterpillar and Wartsila. Its listed solar projects range from 5.85 kWp to 449.28 kWp, plus a 209.4 kWp installation at the Singapore-Dubai Pavilion at the 2020 World Expo.

Enercon advertises a guaranteed 20% savings on its solar installations and a minimum 30% savings from its Smart AC product, though it doesn't publish the terms behind these figures. It offers an Annual Maintenance Contract for solar systems and separate energy audit services. The website doesn't mention financing, leasing or EV charger services.

Before you get a quote from Enercon

• Ask which entity you'll be contracting with — the website describes an international Enercon group (US-founded in 1975, in Singapore since 1994) with branches across several Asian countries, but doesn't give a founding date for the Malaysian entity.
• Get the guaranteed 20% solar savings and 30% Smart AC savings claims confirmed in writing, since the website doesn't publish the conditions behind them.
• Confirm which panel and inverter brand your system will use — Enercon's project listings show it using a mix of Jinko, JA Solar, Trina and Q Cells panels and Huawei, SMA and Solis inverters across different projects.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
