Using the Seek Solar directory
Seek Solar is an information and comparison service. These terms explain what that means in practice, and what the SEDA-verified badge does and does not promise.
What Seek Solar is
Seek Solar is a directory that lets you browse, filter, and compare solar installers operating in Malaysia. We are an information and comparison service only. Seek Solar is not a party to any contract, quote, or agreement you enter into with an installer listed on this site, and does not act as an agent for any installer.
No warranty on installer quality, licensing, or pricing
We make no warranty, express or implied, about the quality of work, licensing status, insurance, financial standing, or pricing accuracy of any installer listed on Seek Solar. Any figures shown (ratings, review counts, technician counts, cost or payback estimates from our tools) are provided for general guidance and may be incomplete, estimated, or out of date.
What the SEDA-verified badge means
A "SEDA-verified" badge means that, at the time the listing was added or last checked, the installer's details were cross-checked against SEDA Malaysia's public registry of registered PV service providers. It is:
- A record of a point-in-time check against a public government registry
- Not an endorsement of the installer's work by Seek Solar
- Not a guarantee that the installer remains compliant or registered on an ongoing basis
- Not paid placement, and not influenced by advertising spend

Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own due diligence before engaging any installer found through this site — including verifying licensing, insurance, quotations, contracts, and workmanship directly with the installer and, where relevant, with SEDA or other authorities.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seek Solar disclaims liability for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from your dealings with a third-party installer listed on this site, including but not limited to workmanship, delivery timelines, pricing, contractual terms, or conduct of that installer or its staff.
Acceptable use
By using this site, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract listing data other than through normal browsing
- Submit a business listing, claim, or quote request containing false or fraudulent information
- Attempt to claim a listing for a business you are not authorised to represent
- Use the site to send unsolicited commercial communications to listed installers or other users
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes arising from use of this site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
