About Mestron Energy

Mestron Energy Sdn Bhd, a Puchong, Selangor-based solar company, is a subsidiary of Mestron Holdings Berhad, which is listed on Bursa Malaysia's ACE Market under stock code 0207. It is registered with SEDA as an investor and contractor (RPVI & RPVSP) and with Suruhanjaya Tenaga as an electrical contractor and Energy Savings Company (ESCO). Its focus is commercial and industrial solar — zero-CAPEX power purchase agreements, self-consumption (SelCo) and outright-purchase installations — alongside wider renewable energy work in biogas and hydro, according to its website.

Mestron Energy's site shows completed solar parking installations at MPOB Kuantan and at three mosques in Kuantan, Pahang, plus a solar PV project for Winstar Aluminium Sdn Bhd — none with published system sizes. In January 2022 it signed a joint development agreement with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS to co-develop a smart, CCTV-equipped solar-powered streetlight pole, a partnership later reported on by Bernama that March. As a subsidiary of a Bursa Malaysia-listed group with more than 200 staff and over 300,000 sq ft of facilities, it draws on a larger corporate structure than a standalone solar installer.

Mestron Energy offers three payment routes: outright purchase (with a free two-year maintenance and workmanship warranty, plus a stated 25-year panel performance and 5-year inverter warranty), a Solar Power Purchase Agreement via SARE, and a virtual PPA/CGPP, and says installation typically takes one week to one month depending on system size. Under its leasing option, the asset transfers to the client for RM1 at the end of the contract, per its website. No panel or inverter brand names are given beyond a claim of using 'tier-1' equipment, and the site's examples are commercial and industrial rather than residential.

Ask for the panel and inverter models in your quote, and get the warranties in writing.

Before you get a quote from Mestron Energy

• Ask which specific panel and inverter brands they'd use — the site only claims 'tier-1' equipment without naming brands.
• If considering Zero CAPEX/PPA or leasing, ask about contract length, the RM1 asset-transfer terms at the end, and what happens if you want to exit early.
• Confirm whether they handle residential installations, since the site's project examples (mosques, factories, MPOB) are all commercial or institutional.
• Ask whether they handle Solar ATAP applications. Their website still describes NEM 3.0, which Solar ATAP replaced on 1 January 2026.
