About Oneworks New Energy

Oneworks New Energy Sdn Bhd was established in 2024 as a solar photovoltaic joint venture between Oneworks Sdn Bhd, a Kuala Lumpur-based diversified services group (automotive claims, roadside assistance, contact centre services and lighting), and Gokin Solar Ltd. Its website says it is certified by SEDA and CIDB and specialises in the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of solar installations, describing itself as "an industry leader in solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions."

Its website doesn't name any solar panel or inverter brand it installs, publish completed solar project details or capacities, or state warranty terms for solar work — the site's detailed project history and figures cover Oneworks' other business lines (roadside assistance, lighting, healthcare administration), not its solar arm. As a solar business only formed in 2024 within a much larger non-solar group, ask directly for its completed project references and licensing details before signing.

• Solar EPCCProvides engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of solar PV installations, per its website.

Before you get a quote from Oneworks New Energy

• Ask for completed solar project examples and capacities, since none are published — the website's project history covers Oneworks' other businesses (roadside assistance, lighting, healthcare), not its solar arm.
• Ask which solar panel and inverter brands it installs and get warranty terms in writing, since neither is published for its solar business.
• Oneworks New Energy was only established in 2024 as a joint venture with Gokin Solar Ltd; ask about its completed solar track record given how recently it was formed.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
