About The Solar House

The Solar House provides EPCC (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) solar PV solutions for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, plus operations and maintenance, from its head office in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. It also lists branches in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and Ipoh, Perak. Beyond core solar installation, it offers EV chargers, Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and says it plans to expand its offerings further.

The company says its team includes pioneers with 12 years of experience in Malaysia's solar PV industry. On its website it claims more than 700 completed projects, and reports generating more than 54,000 MWh of solar energy a year, offsetting more than 34,500 metric tonnes of carbon annually — equivalent, it says, to more than 47,200 acres of forest. These are the company's own figures.

For commercial and industrial customers it says businesses may qualify for GITA and capital-allowance tax incentives (it says the GITA incentive runs until 31 December 2026) and offers zero-CAPEX, financing or outright-purchase options; it advertises payback as fast as three years, depending on usage and system size. For homes, it offers custom packages sized to electricity consumption and handles the TNB application. Its website names no panel, inverter or other equipment brands, though it says it only uses Tier 1 products.

Before you get a quote from The Solar House

• Ask for the panel, inverter and other equipment brands in writing; its website says it only uses 'Tier 1 products' without naming any.
