About TOFM
TOFM (Total IFM Sdn. Bhd.) is primarily an integrated facility management and energy management company based in Ipoh, Perak, with regional offices across Malaysia, Sarawak, Sabah and a Singapore office. Established in 1999, it manages facilities for hospitals, universities, government agencies and commercial and industrial buildings, and offers solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as part of its Energy Management division, for both residential and commercial and industrial customers.
The company's published solar case studies include a 30 kWp commercial installation for West Coast Expressway (WCE) in Trong, Perak, which it says delivers RM1,838 in savings and offsets 663 tonnes of CO2, and a 16.52 kWp residential rooftop installation it says delivers RM950 in savings and offsets 442 tonnes of CO2. The company says it manages RM3 billion in assets across Malaysia and Singapore with a workforce of more than 380, and holds ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 13485 certifications, though solar-specific accreditations aren't separately detailed.
TOFM's core business is broader facility management (covering civil, mechanical, electrical and cleansing services) rather than solar specifically, so its published solar track record is limited to the two case studies above. The website doesn't publish panel or inverter brand names, warranty terms, or financing or leasing options for its solar installations.

Before you get a quote from TOFM
- TOFM's core business is broad facility management, not solar specifically — ask about its dedicated solar team's experience and how many solar projects it has completed.
- No panel or inverter brand or warranty terms are published for its solar installations — ask for these in writing.
- Ask for the assumptions behind its published savings and CO2 figures (e.g. RM1,838 in savings and 663 tonnes of CO2 offset for its 30 kWp West Coast Expressway project), since these can vary significantly by site.
- Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
