About AD Power

AD Power (AD Power Sdn. Bhd.) is a solar PV and electrical engineering EPCC provider based in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor, with a second office in Kapit, Sarawak. Established in 2016 as an electrical engineering service provider, it later shifted its focus to solar PV installation and maintenance for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

The company says its leadership has been active in the solar PV industry since 2010, becoming a major market player by 2018. Its milestones page lists commercial projects including a 1MWp NEM installation for Berjaya Steel, a 1.3MWp system for Apex Office Furniture financed through a Power Purchase Agreement with no upfront cost, a 1MWp system at HL Rubber Industries that it says generated up to RM600,000 in yearly savings, and a 1.1MW rooftop system at De-Luxe Food Services. It has also carried out several phases of rural electrification via solar PV in Kapit, Sarawak.

AD Power holds CIDB Grade G5 M&E contractor registration and states a paid-up capital of RM1,000,000. It expanded into residential solar installations under the NEM Rakyat scheme in July 2024, having previously focused on large-scale industrial projects, and says it was recently awarded a contract for a 1.2MWp Building Integrated Photovoltaic solar carpark at a Nestlé factory. It offers Solar Leasing with zero-capex options for businesses; the website doesn't publish panel or inverter brand names or warranty terms.

Before you get a quote from AD Power

• Ask for the panel and inverter brands used and their warranty terms, since none are published on its website.
• If considering Solar Leasing (zero-capex), ask about contract length, ownership at the end of the term, and exit terms — similar to how its Apex Office Furniture project was financed via a PPA.
• Ask for the RM600,000-a-year savings figure at HL Rubber Industries to be substantiated, since the calculation behind it isn't published.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
