Before you get a quote from AQ Energy
- Ask for the panel, inverter and battery warranty terms in writing, since its homepage and product page list different workmanship guarantees (3-year residential/5-year commercial vs. a flat 5-year).
- Its SEDA credentials list Acquis Sdn Bhd, not Max Bell Sdn Bhd, as the Registered Photovoltaic Investor (RPVI) — ask which entity you would actually be contracting with for a PPA or zero-CAPEX arrangement.
- If considering its zero-CAPEX Solar PPA (from 25 sen/kWh), ask about the contract length, any annual rate escalation, and who owns the system after the guaranteed savings period ends.
- Confirm your quote is processed under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
