About Biipower
Biipower Sdn Bhd is a Johor Bahru-based renewable energy company, headquartered in Skudai, that designs and installs solar, biogas, biomass and geothermal energy systems. It describes itself as serving residential, commercial and industrial customers with rooftop and ground-mounted solar, aiming for bi-directional systems that both import and export power. The company also offers panel cleaning and maintenance. Its website is published in English and Chinese, and it shares its own articles on Malaysia's rooftop solar schemes, including the SuRIA Home rebate and the Solar ATAP programme.
The company says it has more than 10 years of experience in solar engineering design and more than 8 years in construction project management, using an ERP-based project system and commissioning to MS 1837:2018 standards, according to its website. It also describes a separate, associated company, Biipower Clean Energy Sdn Bhd, established in 2020, as the entity mainly handling residential installations, while Biipower Sdn Bhd is the SEDA-registered company for this listing. No specific completed projects, sizes or named clients appear on the site.
Enquiries go through phone or WhatsApp, with a stated goal of providing a free solar proposal within 24 hours. The website does not name the solar panel or inverter brands it installs, list financing partners, or state which regions beyond Johor Bahru it covers. It mentions a general 'Product and Workmanship Warranty Coverage' without specific terms or duration. Buyers should ask directly about equipment brands, warranty specifics, and which of the two related Biipower entities would handle their contract.
