About EI Power

EI Power Technologies Sdn. Bhd., trading as EI Power (EIP Group), is a Shah Alam-registered energy engineering company. Its website is run under EI Power Bhd, which it describes as "the listing vehicle" for the Sdn. Bhd. entity, and which it says debuted on Bursa Malaysia's ACE Market in May 2026. The group delivers full engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services across three lines: solar PV, diesel and hybrid backup power, and mission-critical power for facilities such as data centres. Its work targets industrial, commercial, data-centre, healthcare and institutional clients rather than individual homeowners.

The company says it was co-founded in September 2010, initially focused on backup power equipment, before expanding into large-scale energy solutions after OCK Group Berhad became its majority shareholder. It became a CIDB Grade G7 contractor in 2017 and a Class A electrical contractor with the Energy Commission Malaysia in 2023. It says it has completed more than 30 solar projects across Peninsular Malaysia, citing KLIA and Sunway University among its landmark solar clients, and says it has commissioned more than 1,000 MW of diesel generation capacity for clients including Sunway Medical Centre, KL Sentral, Intel and Bank Negara.

EI Power says it offers zero-capex solar and backup power adoption through power purchase agreements or build-own-operate models, under which it funds and operates the system in exchange for ongoing payments. It doesn't name specific solar panel or inverter brands, describing its equipment only as "tier-1". Its published solar process runs from site assessment and engineering through authority approvals, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover, and is aimed at industrial and commercial customers rather than residential ones.
