About Sol Power Engineering

Sol Power Engineering (SPE) is based in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, and says it was officially established on 12 June 2019, having previously operated as LPE Enterprise from 2005. It supplies, installs, services and maintains solar energy systems for residential and commercial buildings up to Large Scale Solar (LSS) plants, and also offers civil and structural contracting. It sells its own-branded solar panels, inverters, LiFePO4 batteries, portable power stations and solar street lighting alongside its installation work.

The company names several large-scale solar (LSS) projects: a 30MWac plant in Gebeng, Pahang (DC cabling, inverters and combiner boxes); a 30MWac plant in Bukit Merah, Perak (electrical works and cable trenching); a 30MWac plant in Pekan, Pahang (mechanical and electrical work including a smart transformer); and piling work for a 50MWac plant in Merchang, Terengganu. It also says it installed a 1.5 MWp rooftop BIPV system under the Feed-in Tariff scheme in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, and claims to have completed 300MW of LSS and 50MW of rooftop projects, plus more than 800MW of solar installation work overall.

Sol Power Engineering sells its own-branded solar panels, hybrid inverters, LiFePO4 batteries, portable power stations and solar street lighting, alongside third-party inverter brand Sunsynk. Its website does not publish warranty terms for any of these products, and it also offers O&M, inverter repair, troubleshooting, and removal ('demolish') of existing solar systems. It does not describe financing or leasing options for homeowners.

Before you get a quote from Sol Power Engineering

• Ask which manufacturer supplies its own-labelled solar panels (e.g. the DHM-series modules), since the brand behind the label isn't named, and get warranty terms in writing — none are published.
• It lists decommissioning ('demolish') of existing solar systems as a service; if relevant, ask about this experience and how it differs from a fresh installation.
• The website doesn't describe financing or leasing options for homeowners; ask directly if any are available.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
