About Xenergi

Xenergi is a green solutions provider based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, offering renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainability consultancy and bespoke engineering services for residential, commercial and industrial customers. The company says it is a portfolio company of Ekuinas, the Malaysian private equity fund.

Xenergi says it has delivered more than 100 projects and secured over RM100 million in contract value. Its projects page lists installations including 296.37 kWp at Zircon Malaysia in Selangor, 303.03 kWp at IKM Seberang Perai in Penang, 117.7 kWp at the Hangout Urban + Eco Resort in Langkawi, and 657 kWp at Lumut Maritime Terminal in Perak — though its about page separately describes the Lumut project as 'over 700 kWp'. It also lists smaller projects such as CN Chemicals (62.7 kWp) and Bank Islam Malaysia (20.35 kWp).

Xenergi holds registrations including CIDB, Borang Q, TNB, and SEDA's Registered Solar PV Installer and Investor status, plus Ministry of Finance Taraf Bumi and ESCO registration with the Energy Commission (ST), per its website. It says it has installed 10 MW of solar capacity (elsewhere stated as 6 MW) and reduced carbon emissions by more than 4,646 tonnes annually. Its leadership team includes certified energy managers and engineers with backgrounds in solar implementation and green building certification, though its website doesn't publish panel or inverter brand names or specific warranty terms.

• Ask which figure is accurate for its installed solar capacity, since Xenergi's website states both 10 MW (homepage) and 6 MW (about page).
• Ask for the verified capacity of the Lumut Maritime Terminal project, since the projects page lists 657 kWp while the about page separately describes it as 'over 700 kWp'.
• No panel or inverter brand or warranty terms are published — ask for these in writing.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
