About YMB Solutions Services

YMB Solutions Services Sdn Bhd, based in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, is principally a utilities and civil engineering contractor, offering engineering design, project management, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning. It says it started as an enterprise in 2008 and was upgraded to a private limited company on 21 June 2021. Rooftop solar installation is listed as one of several service lines, alongside civil and structural work, low-voltage overhead line work for TNB, and mechanical and electrical services.

Its published project list is almost entirely civil, electrical and TNB line-maintenance contracts across Negeri Sembilan and Selangor — including work for Universiti Selangor, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, and state prison and PLKN facilities — with no solar-specific projects, capacities or client names listed. It says it collaborates with G SPARX, a company wholly owned by TNB, under the MARA PROSOLAR programme, though its website gives no further detail on this. It also says it has delivered more than 500 projects for over 10 clients since its creation.

It operates from a Seremban headquarters, with a separate site office in Bandar Puncak Alam, Selangor, and a warehouse in Rantau, Negeri Sembilan. Its website gives no information on solar panel or inverter brands, warranty terms, or solar-specific pricing.

Before you get a quote from YMB Solutions Services

• Rooftop solar installation is listed as just one of several service lines (alongside civil works and TNB line maintenance) — ask for solar-specific project references, since none appear in its published project list.
• It says it partners with G SPARX (TNB-owned) under the MARA PROSOLAR programme — ask how this applies to your project and what MARA PROSOLAR covers.
• Ask which panel and inverter brands it would use and what warranty terms apply — none are published on its website.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
