About Ditrolic Energy

Ditrolic Energy is the trading name for the Ditrolic group of companies, headquartered in Johor Bahru with a main office in Petaling Jaya and further offices across Singapore, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia and China. It has grown from a solar PV specialist founded in 2009 into an integrated clean-energy company covering solar, energy storage and grid-scale renewables, and it focuses on utilities, commercial and industrial clients, data centres and large infrastructure such as airports, rather than individual homeowners.

The company says it installed the first local turnkey utility-scale solar system in Southern Malaysia in 2012, and the largest rooftop system in Malaysia and Singapore that year. It says it won the Singapore Changi Airport project (3.6MWp) in 2016, became the first company in Malaysia to complete more than 100MWp of solar installations worldwide by 2018, and had 300MW of solar systems under management across Southeast Asia by 2020. Its Kerian Solar project in Perak won a 2021 Asset Triple A Infrastructure Award for Renewable Energy Deal of the Year, per its site.

Ditrolic offers behind-the-meter systems that a business buys and owns, and front-of-meter and green-electricity-supply arrangements such as its EnerGreen plan under Malaysia's Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme (CRESS), aimed at businesses rather than homes. It also provides ongoing operations and maintenance, including 15-minute-interval remote monitoring, and describes its warranty administration service only in general terms without publishing specific warranty periods.
