About Hybrio Engineering

Hybrio Engineering Sdn Bhd, registered with SEDA as Hybrio Marketing Sdn Bhd, is a Johor Bahru-based solar and electrical engineering company founded in 2009. It designs, installs and maintains grid-tied, hybrid and off-grid solar PV systems, and also installs electrified security fencing for light industrial customers, according to its website. It describes itself as a team of more than 20 designers, engineers, project managers and consultants, and its product page names Mitsubishi Electric solar modules and SMA inverters as the equipment it supplies.

Its portfolio page says it has completed more than 40 government school solar energy projects across Sabah (Malaysia), the Philippines, Niue and India, without breaking down how many were in each location. The site's content — including a 2012 sales figure quoted for inverter supplier SMA — appears not to have been updated since around 2013, so recent project history isn't available.

Contact is by phone or fax to its Johor Bahru office. The site also lists an associated entity, Gtech Solution, sharing the same registration number as Hybrio Marketing, operating from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, plus an Asia sales and marketing partner, AAP Global Limited, with offices in Taiwan and Hong Kong. No financing options, current installation warranty terms, or Hybrio-specific maintenance plans are described on the site.

Before you get a quote from Hybrio Engineering

• Clarify whether you'd be contracting with Hybrio Engineering Sdn Bhd, Hybrio Marketing Sdn Bhd (the SEDA-registered name), or the associated Gtech Solution in Sabah — the site uses different names for what appears to be one group.
• Ask for recent project references — the site's portfolio and pricing content appears to date from around 2012–2013.
• Confirm current installation warranty terms directly, since the only figure published (25 years) is the panel manufacturer's own product warranty.
• Confirm the application is under Solar ATAP, which replaced NEM 3.0 on 1 January 2026.
