About Solarlink Energy
Solarlink Energy is a solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) provider headquartered in Johor Bahru, with a regional office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and a sales representative in Singapore. It was established in December 2023 as a subsidiary of Linkbuild Sdn Bhd, an electrical infrastructure and industrial power systems company also based in Johor Bahru. It serves residential, commercial, industrial and large-scale solar customers, and also offers EV chargers and solar street lighting.
The company says its management and technical team has more than a decade of combined experience in the solar industry, and that it has delivered on-grid and off-grid solar projects across Malaysia reaching several megawatts in capacity, though it doesn't name specific completed projects or exact totals. Solarlink Energy was named to the SME100 Malaysia 2025 Hall of Fame and won the Outstanding Bull Award at the Golden Bull Awards 2026.
For homes, Solarlink Energy publishes indicative system sizes and estimated monthly savings: 4-5 kWp for around RM200-300, 8-10 kWp for RM400-600, and 10-15 kWp for RM800-1100. It offers Solar ATAP and Selco financing options, and says it provides a 6-hour response time for operations and maintenance in Johor Bahru and the Klang Valley.
